Condolence From: Daniel cooper
Condolence: I guess this is the only place I'll be able to say something. Life seems empty now that you're gone. It's like everything that I've ever known about life this got turned upside down and I don't know how to take it. You and my father are the only two men that ever had the best advice for me and always loved me I unconditionally. You showed me what a real man was and did for his family. I wish I wouldn't have been so busy in this life, I miss you. I'm sorry. You were stern when you had to be, but always taught me right from wrong lovingly. You and my dad were the only two men in my life I wanted to be like, and wanted you to be proud of me. I don't think I'll ever live up to you or my dad. I love you.

Condolence: Dear Ray, our guardian angel in heaven. Your love and devotion will live on forever in your family's and friends' lives. I miss your smiles, your laugh, your endless generosity, your sincere prayers before sharing meals, and your compliments and caring that brought such warm feelings of friendship. Dementia robbed me of my Dad most every minute of his last 25 years. You were like a second Dad to me; a true blessing. I'm sad that I'll never be called Sugar again, but I'll smile each time your memory comes to mind. Thank you, dear friend. Rest in peace with God.

Condolence: Mr. Edwards was always a big man to me. Scared me sometimes, maybe that's why I looked up to him. He was special. The world has lost a good one. RIP friend.

Condolence: Ray Sr. was an inspiration to me during my younger years as a junior sailor in the Navy when I would come "home" to the Edwards family on weekends with Monty. The entire family welcomed me with open arms. I considered Ray my "2nd Dad". He will truly be missed. Heartfelt condolences to the entire family, but especially to "Mom" Dovie Edlwards. Ray was your soul mate for many years. I have never seen two people so in love. "GARY"
